[文法] is問題

1.Nancy: Is _______ your student? Jay: Yes, he is.
(A) Vivian's and Jill's brothers
(B) Miss Wang
(C) Vivian and Jill's brother
(D) Vivian and Jill's mom


請問這題為什麼選c? 不能選B是因為Miss是女性,he是男性..

但是

Vivian and Jill's brother  不是兩人嗎?

為什麼Is  跟he is?
