[請益] in late 2009要放在哪裡?

Not wanting to plateau in my career, I began thinking about what steps I
needed to take to continue the success I had achieved.

要把 in the late 2009 加進去.  表示"在2009年底開始思考..."

加句首嗎? 可是這樣會不會有太多逗號的疑慮?

加句尾嗎?  是不是又可能被誤以為2009年底的success

請問先進們,我該怎麼加?
