  查了一下手上的文法寶典,
  上面講到介系詞的用法,
  在第五冊627頁的地方有提到形容詞+介系詞的用法:

  ex: anxious + AT the news 聽到消息而感到焦慮 (at表原因)
                FOR the knowledge 渴望知識     (for表欲求)
                ABOUT him                      (about表關聯)

      good + AT English  擅長英語              (at表觸點)
             TO everybody  對每一個人都親切    (to表關係)
             FOR nothing  沒有用               (for表用途)

  另外,
  文中在下方有提到:
  有些同義字或反義字, 由於使用的介系詞不同, 而意思也有所不同

  ex: glad of the success 高興成功             (of表原因)
      sorry FOR the failure 悲嘆失敗           (for表原因)

     go TO Tokyo 去東京 (表到達)               (to表到達)
     I leave For Tokyo 向東京出發              (for表目的)

  還有,
  在前面616頁有提到有提到:
  關於場所:
  to:單純地表示方向
  ex: She pointed to the window. 她指向窗戶

  如果表示場所以外的抽象目標,則用for
  ex: They all work for money. 他們全都是為了錢而工作

  625頁則提到for表示內在的, 心理的原因
  ex: I am very sorry for your misfortune. 對於你的不幸, 我感到很難過


 ps. 以上我只提出書中針對to和for作比較,
     詳細內容,
     請自行參閱...
     兩者能不能通用,
     應該是在口語方面作為考量會比較好,
     至少在正規的文法中,
     兩者還是有差異的!
