        大家好
        因近日需與國外學者討論某轉譯版量表
        想要確認是否有更動過量表的名稱
        不知是否可請大家提供一些意見
        非常謝謝

Because you use it to investigating the effects then modified and added items,
the scale's name whether changed?

查了一下whether和if的用法
whether-->多用於決定/表態:要不要,會不會...
if-->是否
1) 如果作為主詞或句子開頭-->只能用whether
2) 作為主詞受詞/某些不確定,疑惑子句時-->whether/if
3) 作為be動詞補語/介係詞句子-->只能用whether
4) 作為具有決定意味動詞之後的受詞-->whether
5) 所接的句子是"選擇題"而非"是非題"時-->多用whether

所以我這句話是想要表達:
因為你曾經使用它調查相關的影響與修改及增加題項,
Because you use it to investigating the effects then modified and added items,
所以不知是否有更改這個量表的名稱呢?
the scale's name whether changed?
(whether作為主詞,代表the scale name)
所以想請教大家這樣使用上是否有錯或有什麼建議

→ priv:這樣是錯的
→ priv:is it changed就好了，這邊if/whether都插不進去
→ priv:另外to investigate是不定詞才對
→ priv:then前面要有連接詞
→ priv:建議你順一下原句的邏輯，因為中文我就看得不是很懂
→ priv:所以無法幫你改寫
