[文法] 這兩句英文

1. Mark doesn't understand the question well, so he mumbled

   to explain it when he is asked to explain the question by teacher.



   這句我自己造的，請問後半斷  ,so .... when  這樣有沒有問題?

   有無文法錯誤呢?



2. The factory was caught releasing toxic waste into the river.

   這句是書上抄的，就一句。

   請問為什麼 The factory was caught 後面是加releasing 為什麼加ing呢?

→ sellgd:1 so是連接兩個主句 when是修飾第2主句的時間副詞子句 沒錯
→ sellgd:1 時態錯蠻多的就是了
推 heziying::1.我建議你這樣寫: so when the teacher asked him to
→ heziying:explain the question, he mumbled his answer.這樣邏輯
→ heziying:比較順 而且沒有passive voice(by teacher) 如果可以避免
→ heziying:用passive voice,就避免用吧^^
