1."As much as" we computer users hate to admit it,password serve a vital

function.

這邊的"As much as"應該要如何解釋呢?



2.People look at the lock on the door and think,'You are preventing me from

getting in',when actually the lock on the door allows the information to be

kept"in the first place.

句中的 when 跟 in the first place應該是什麼意思呢?
