標題[請益] 想問一些句子的典故

He made his way through the glorious multitude ,redolent of sweat ,cheap co-
logne and cash. He sashayed up to the cashier's window ,pulled out his wallet ,
and extracted several crisp hundreds. Not even noticing the age or gender of
the teller behind the cage--too busy taking in the passing parade--he tossed
his bills down on the smooth marble and saw them replaced by a neat pile of c-
hips. He swept the chips up ;『they fell as naturally into his hand as the ap-
ple Adam took from Eve.』
『Ah ,the wealth of choices. The cornucopia of pleasures.』
倒數第二個引號我理解成:就像亞當從夏娃那摘頻果一樣,那些籌碼很自然地進到他的手裡
是某種譬喻法嗎??似乎是在形容他的手很靈巧,尤其是他將那些籌碼收到手裡的動作.
想知道亞當從夏娃那摘頻果的典故是甚麼...不太懂他這樣譬喻的意思
最後一個引號我就完全看不懂他的文意在何處了...
只知道cornucopia 是宙斯的羊的羊角(google查的)
也是譬喻嗎??
