標題[文法] "a great deal of" 和 "great deals of"

事實上這個問題是從GMAT的分析寫作Official Guide高分例文來的: 原句: A great deal of human resources have been wasted by Yugo owners waiting for the dreaded tow truck to show up to haul away the Yugo carcass. 我把這句話貼到Word，發現它的文法偵測到錯誤: 應該是: "A great deal of human resources has been..." 或是: "Great deals of human resources have been..." 我自己在Google上的搜尋發現很多種用法都有 加上如果大家知道GMAT考試本身對用字斟酌的程度，我不太知道到底怎樣算對: 我自己大概歸納問題點如以下: 1. "deal"或"deals"的單複數取決於human resources嗎?還是"a great deal" 是固定用法? 那"Great deals"是否正確? 2. 動詞(has/have been)的單複數視deal而定?或是視human resources而定? 請解惑，感恩！ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.31.172.240
