[請益] 請問英文有類似「亂槍打鳥」的諺語嗎？

[sluggard (~Halcyon Days~)]

我跟我朋友聊天時，
想講「亂槍打鳥」，上下文是用在：
"我在找工作，反正就拼命投履歷，亂槍打鳥應該多少會中吧"
類似這樣的意思～
想請問有沒有類似俗語諺語或是比較口語的用法？

請問精神支柱的英文又怎麼講呢？
moral support？感覺moral不太對....
mental support?
