標題[文法] 請教less的使用方式

今天看見一題題目
This famous-branded tie cost _______ than NT$200 dollars.
答案是 "less"
想請問為什麼不能寫"fewer" (修飾可數名詞)
因為NT$200 dollars 是"錢" (money: 不可數)的關係嗎??
但是接在後面的"dollars" 不是"可數"嗎??
有點不清楚
