"she could do"是用來指前面的nothing，換句話說 nothing後面省略掉
that，所以這個句子的動詞是was，既然沒有進行式與被動式，自然就是
用to加原型動詞的形式。

: (C) to wait; with (D)waited; in
: 答案: B
: 請問, there was nothing she could do but...
: 跟 we could do nothing but... 語意上其實是一樣的，也都有do nothing but
: 但是為什麼一個接原形V,另一個卻接不定詞to+V，煩請知道的高手解惑，感激不盡。
這題比較明顯。
