  than before,these new methods are hurting the environment"


  我想請問 while 子句不是要用進行式嗎? 怎麼變成主句用進行式了?

推 heroe:樓上的意思是說while這裡不當 during 而是當 although。
→ heroe:只是前面還有however，我就無解了。而且while放在主句也不通
推 stu60912:while這裡是當during解釋沒錯。更精確的解釋是

→ stu60912:也就是說當「農業技術已讓採收咖啡變得更有效率」這件事
→ stu60912:時，這些技術也『正在』破壞環境。however此處想必是
