標題[求譯] must be of 的用法

今天念到一篇文章 有個句子 覺得怪 想請問一下大家
Human intelligence must be of key importance
to the value of human beings on earth.
想請問這個句子 如果直接用 must be，省略掉of 是對的嗎?
另外會加of 的原因是 因為後面是名詞(key importance)嗎?
有點搞不懂
