個人不認為 It is raining soon. 是好英文，但是從「同情的了解」角度
出發，能夠解出語意。

我相信tijj大到處詢問的高人們，也都是從這個角度來看待這個句子的。

因此如果將我上一帖編出的對話，拿去給英文母語人士看，我賭一塊錢，大多數會說
還過得去 (重點，不是正確，而是「還過得去」)，
尤其美國南方的鄉巴佬，要講文法規則，他們肯定輸給板上的各位賢達。


我比較好奇的是，大家的英文如果都這麼好，幹嘛不用英文來吵？
我起了頭，沒人要跟，很沒勁。

語言是不斷演化的，

所以：  You had better -> You better 這種variation，只要用得人多，
就會有編寫文法書的人，把它寫進去，

書印出來後，就會成為...成為...成為遠東小島國上的國民，捧著當作
聖經一樣，引經據典數落誰誰誰的英文不好、不夠道地、不夠正確的圭臬。


Language is a tool through which we express our thoughts. The great
comedian George Carlin once said that we do think in language, so the
quality of our thoughts can only be as good as the quality of our
language.

You may think that the idea derived from the above statement justifies
this lengthy debate over the validity of the expression in question.

The hell it doesn't.

Fucking Carlin would be laughing in his grave knowing people on a far
east island with adequate English proficiency have been so hung up
on such trivial grammtical crap while what they really should be doing
is have meaningful discussion on matters that actually CONCERN THEM,
like cross-strait politics and economics, the Euro debt crisis,
the environment and green energy and whatnot, because THAT would be
great exercise to put their language skills to test - force themselves
to THINK in English.

But hell no.

We don't do that.

We have to dig deep and find out if 'it is raining soon'
is grammatically correct.

Pathetic. All of us.
