[文法] 地上有個洞

[karenlulu (Lu)]

地上有個洞:

There's a pit on the ground.

There's a pit in the ground.

到底,"在地上"用in還是on?

會這麼問是因為,我聽老外是講in the ground

但是我自覺應該是用on比較對...

還是說,2種都可用呢?

推 tooth:我自己是覺得，用on比較偏向地面"上"，所以這個"洞"是獨立的
→ tooth:，並不屬於ground的一部份(兩者不是一體的)
→ tooth:可是，若用in，我會解釋為，(本來地面是平的，但不知為何)
→ tooth:出現了一個洞。
→ tooth:sorry,我好像講的很模糊。
推 macgyveryu:意指分為人為(施工)的洞和天然(突然裂開)的洞?
推 xczh:洞的位置是在ground裡面          讓我想到punch in the face
推 kellyx:我覺得是in 因為on比較有"接觸"面的意味 而in有"內容"意味
