群眾募資

We are familiar with the idea of crowd-funding; instead of holding out for a
big sum from a single big investor, why not harvest a lot of smaller amounts
from many web users? At the South-By-South-West film festival in Austin,
Texas last week, I found a twist on the idea, where you can back a product or
a project, by owning the rights to it in your own cities, rather having to go
to the expense and risk of doing so across entire territories. It's making
crowd-funding local. And you can determine how long you want to hold those
rights for. Bringing backers and the projects together is the recently
launched “SOCAP” website; they are interested in funding movies. But one of
the first project was actually a starter for marketing hangover prevention
product.

我們都很熟悉「群眾募資」的概念了；與其從單一的大投資者手中拿到一大筆資助金額，
為何不試試從眾多的網路使用者這邊，獲取無數筆小額的投資款呢? 上星期在美國德州奧
斯汀舉辦的「西南偏南影展」中，我看到這個概念的新做法。若你想要支援一項產品或計
畫，你可以在自己的城市擁有該產品/計畫的利權，而不需要花很多錢，在各大城市冒險
投資。這就是讓「募資在地化」的做法。你可以決定你想要持有這些利權的時間長短。而
一個剛成立的網站「SOCAP」就把想投資的金主與需要資金的計畫連結在一起。原本他們
只希望為電影尋找資金，但網站第一個成功的案例，卻是為解宿醉的醒酒產品行銷。
