[文法] 該用 Me too 還是 Neither can I ?

以下是在文法書上看到的例句：

A：I'm afraid I can't attend the workshop.

B：Me too.

請問 B 的回答為什麼不是 Neither can I 呢？

Me too 不是應該用在肯定的方面嗎？

還是因為 afraid 的關係？ 謝謝
