used to say that every politician wants you to believe he was born in a log
cabin he built himself, but it ain't so.

但事實絕非如此!
We Democrats think the country works better with a strong middle class, real
opportunities for poor people to work their way into it and a relentless
focus on the future, with business and government working together to promote
growth and broadly shared prosperity. We think "we're all in this together"
is a better philosophy than "you're on your own."
我們民主黨員 認為
這個國家會進步是因為強大的中產階級
因為美國提供機會讓窮人得以努力進到中產階級
然後著眼於未來
加上企業以及政府合作
造就了經濟成長 然後大家共同分享繁榮
