我試試看，有可能會解錯XD
原文是在講影片呈現「沒有」或「看不見的事物」的巧妙之處跟技巧
這整句剛好是轉折的地方，後文就是在講真正的挑戰
我把這句改一下，說不定會比較清楚一點（但可能會變得有點不太緊密）
[Bringing the invisible into visibility] would only gain
in scope and in dimension, if, for example, the film takes
[the invisible forces and relations at work] as
[part of its subject of inquiry] in the creative process.
第一個[]是整句的主詞，在某些情況下把看不見的東西用鏡頭去照
would only gain in scope and in dimension
也就是用把沒有或看不到的東西照出來，只是在鏡頭範圍或維度上增長
（中文不知道怎麼翻，讀起來就是很平實去照沒有的東西）
（這邊要注意的是dimension包括時間跟空間，要跟scope分開來看）
在什麼樣的條件下？
if, for example, 在...舉例來說
the film takes [the invisible forces and relations at work] as
[part of its subject of inquiry] in the creative process.
在創作過程裡，影片把第二個[]作為探究的一部分
用我的話來解讀的話是：
假如，比如說，在創作過程裡，把看不到的力量跟關連性作為影片探究的目的之一，
用鏡頭把這些看不到的事物呈現在眼前，只是在鏡頭跟維度上造成放大效果。
這樣解讀，才會跟後文連起來
後文是在說真正的挑戰在於去把玩那些看不到的東西，例如時間上或空間上
的縫隙....
