在(A.)號句子裡，或許會翻譯"and"到“也”或“而且”。
對我來說，覺得A是最奇怪的答案，因為我先會問:"Why did he place the couplets
on the wall if he had to finish cleaning the room?"
他為何沒有寫"but"？
B.) On Chinese New Year's Eve, Jim had
to finish cleaning the room and placing the Chinese couplets on the wall.
B.1.) On Chinese New Year's Eve, Jim had to finish cleaning the room.
B.11.) On Chinese New Year's Eve, Jim had [an obligation [which was]]

我自己覺得B是最好的答案，因為它的句法最有趣，還有解釋Jim得做完兩件事。
