[考題] 為什麼？

After thinking for thirty minutes, Joseph still didn't know the answer ______ the question. He asked his teacher ______ help.

(A) to ; to (B) of ; to (C) of ; for (D) to ; for
我最後選擇(C)但答案是(D) 不懂為何。
還有 ask to 跟 ask for 有什麼差別？
