We are here today not to mourn her passing, but to celebrate a life
thoroughly lived, a life full of health and warmth and family, all the things
that one can really hope for. Moments like today have a distinct way of
making people realize what is truly important in life. Please, take a moment
to look around, at the person to your right, to your left. I hope today is a
reminder that we as a family are stronger together than apart, that we can be
reminded of the woman who my grandmother was and what she stood for. And in
the end, that perhaps is the greatest compliment that one can be paid -- to
be admired in how one has lived, to be cherished in what one has meant to
others. For that, I thank my grandmother and wish her well as I do all of
you.
我們今天在這裡不是為了要悼念她的離去，而是為了要慶祝一段被徹底活過的人生. 一段
(所有人所嚮往)充滿著健康，溫暖與家庭的人生。在今日的此刻，請大家用一點時間看看
你們的周遭，看看左右的人，讓我們思考什麼才是生命中真正重要的..( 我希望在今天)
，當我們想起阿嬤的為人，和她所堅持的東西，能夠提醒我們：作為這個家庭的一份子，
我們團結要遠比分散時堅強。
最後，這大概是一個人可以得到最高的評價：被眾人所欽羨，並因著所有對他人的善意而
被感念。對此，我感謝我的祖母，並且祝福她，和所有在場的大家
