寫翻譯題目時遇到的片語
"上星期, 我弟弟因牙痛得厲害而難以咀嚼食物"
句型: S + have problems + (in) + Ving
書上給的範例是:
1) Last week, my younger brother was having problems chewing his food
because he had a bad toothache.
我是可以接受這個句子，
不過想請教的是這是否是個"固定型態"的片語
比方說，可否寫成:
2) Last week, my younger brother had problems chewing his food
because he had a bad toothache.
以文法來說, (2)其實沒有太大的問題
但我卻從未看過有人使用(2)來表達過
又這樣看起來，(1)使用動名詞似乎意思是和(2)稍微有所不同
