請教下面幾個問題

1.
Three people in this band play guitar.
為什麼不是寫成
Three people are in this band play guitar.

2.
How long will Bethany be in Moscow?
Bethany 是地名, 可這句話該怎麼翻!?
莫斯科到 Bathany有多遠!?
有沒有更好的英文寫法!?

3.
I would like to make a reservation.
可以寫成這樣子!?
i like to make a reservation.!?

4.
What time are you arriving?
How many people are arriving?
可以寫成這樣子!?
what time do you arrive !?
how many people will arrive!?

推 monkeywife:1. in this band當做形容詞 修飾前面的名詞 這稱為後位
→ monkeywife:修飾 所以in this band必須要緊跟著欲修飾的名詞
→ monkeywife:3. would like to 意思跟want差不多 是比較客氣的說法
→ monkeywife:但是跟喜歡沒什麼關係
→ monkeywife:4. 現在進行式代替未來式的用法 只有特定動詞可這樣用

→ priv:要改也是 will you arrive

→ OhwadaAkira:How far則表示距離的遠近
→ OhwadaAkira:你可以這樣說 How far is it from Bethany to Moscow?
