[文法] 幾個文法問題請教

Hi All

以下請教幾個問題

1.
Did your mother give this to you?
She wants something to eat.
可否寫成
Did your mother give something to you?
She wants to eat something.

2.
Where did you put the keys?
I put them on the table.
為何不是使用
I put that on the table.
只因為keys是複數?

3.
為何arriving at the , 但 Leaving卻不用加 at?
He's arriving at the airport.
He's leaving the airport.

4.
請問這兩者的意境差別在哪!?
Are you coming to work today?
Do you coming to work today?

5.
加不加the 的分別在!?
He's early for the party.
She's late for school.
之前看一篇文章在講說, 加 The是指對方不了解
可是 school & party 不是都差不多!?

6.
What type of party was it?
最後請問這邊為何用的是 it 而非 that

推 apoka:1.都可以，但give this to you就以經確定是什麼東西了，some
→ apoka:thing比較不確定。另外She wants to eat something.聽起來好
→ apoka:像非常餓XD
推 apoka:2 put that on the table感覺就是只有一個特定東西
推 apoka:3. 就是這樣，不然聽起來很奇怪，我也不知道為何，就像look
→ apoka:要加at，但hit不用。（不過我覺得如果要"強烈強調"是在機場
→ apoka:離開，加個at應該也可以，不確定）
推 apoka:4.Do you *come* to work today?意思兜不攏，似乎沒這種用法
→ apoka:。
推 apoka:5.school這詞比較特別，指上學時不用加the
→ apoka:6.感覺都可以
→ tom91002:2. that是單數的代名詞，可以用these或those
推 belia613613:5. school跟hospital若不加the就是去那裡做在那該做
→ belia613613:的事：上課、看病
→ belia613613:若加了the就是把學校跟醫院視為一個地點
→ belia613613:可能跟朋友約在那碰面，或是探病等等…
