我大概知道gone are the days是倒裝

不倒裝:The days when all men had to think about was wearing a nice suit to
be smart and handsome are gone.

翻譯感覺是 "人們必須思考是否穿著合適的衣服讓自己看起來聰明和帥的日子已經過了"

我不懂的是think about 後面為什麼可以加 was wearing?

思考了很久，還是沒找出頭緒，不好意思，感謝大大幫忙~
