[文法] 這句話的文法哪邊出錯了呢?

大家好，剛剛看到朋友寫的一句話，似乎怪怪的，但又不確定要怎麼修改。

原文是: Do I need to separate these mails based on where they are being

sent to?


覺得怪的點在於 mails 後直接接上 based on, 我記得based on 是形容詞，可以用來

修飾 separate 這個動作嗎? 謝謝

→ Meela:我覺得整句沒有問題，based on 在這是被動用法
→ Meela:based on 確實是用來說明separate mails 這個動作。
→ Meela:according to 也行啦，the way 那句不是像是聊天會用到
推 IrwinC:感覺文法沒問題，只是句子太冗長 based on where they...那
→ IrwinC:直接改成by their destination就簡潔多了
