這種題目英文之外考的是邏輯, 想太多跟腦內小劇場的選項都是不可以選的..
不管政治正確是什麼 題幹說什麼, 就是"只有"什麼, 請嚴格遵循此原則
題幹很難翻譯漂亮 小弟就不翻了
總之它是說科學家的任務呢
應該要 see what the case is >>>>> make up a case
就這樣 "沒別的"
: A.The task of the scientist is to see and to invent.
關 invent 屁事 拜拜
跟 to see 也沒啥關
: B.The responsibility of the scientist is to look for a case.
關 look for a case 屁事
: C.The task of the scientist is to investigate instead of inventing a case.
investigate a case = see what a cas is 不同單字解釋同樣意思 OK
inventing a CASE = make up a case OK
機掰 同樣都是invent 為什麼這裡可以, A 不行 ?
因為他有加 case..
就這樣.. 真的..

跟整條題幹都沒啥關係
: Whether or not the artistic quality of the bullfight outweighs the moral
: question of the animals’ suffering is something that each
: person must decide for themselves.
鬥牛藝術之美 跟動物所受之苦 哪個重要 每個人都必須 自己決定
題幹大概這樣啦 沒講的 一切都沒有發生
請記得要嚴格遵守 刪光小劇場 不要去思考跟推理 這兩個原則
: A.Everyone has his/her interpretation on whether the beauty of the bullfight
: is more important than the suffering of
: the bull.
A它說每個人都有自己的詮釋 對於鬥牛之美 和牛的痛苦 哪個更重要
A 看完我無法排除這個選項 只能等等看完有無更好的
: B.People in our society are forced to decide whether the artistic quality of
: the bullfight is more valuable than the
: suffering of the animal.
B 錯在哪
在於其實people 並沒有被 forced to decide.
為什麼?
題幹說的 must decide 並不是 被逼著要投票表決那種被逼的 must,
而是一定要, "只能由" 你自己來決定.
這兩種(鬥牛VS動物受苦), 哪個對, "只能由" "一定要" 你自己來判斷
must 跟 "forced" 在這裡 意思是不同的
: C.Whether the bullfight is an art or a moral issue is a question to which
: each person has an answer.
句子對
但是跟題幹沒關係 也就是說題幹講的意思 "不能" 被你解釋成這樣
即使邏輯通 道理對
但嚴禁胡亂推理 句子對不代表它是答案
每個人都有他自己的答案這件事 "沒人跟你講" 你不知道 你不能知道 又禁止你自己想
所以它錯

: than an act of murder and of inflicting

更錯了吧 這個
後面那段自行推理 哪來的
當然是不能選
所以就是A囉...
可能會選錯得應該是C 但是相較之下 A的說法跟題幹 是更加接近的
他們都有提到 每個人 自行決定何者重要 這個概念
C則稍微有點衍生了
