最近看到一些文章（尤其是政治類文章）都會用到這個字
例如：The first few months of 2015 will have their own "optics", because both sides want to claim forward movement.
（Wall Street JournalJan 4, 2015）
還有“Timothy Geithner worried about the optics of going into finance. ‘I think the perception problem ... is very damaging to me.’”
英文解釋是The way a situation or action is perceived by the public.
請問那這個字該怎麼翻比較好？
大眾的理解/觀感？
