I agree with you. However, in my opinion, seeing each other is also important
in understing when communicating with foreigners.
When we don't understand a new vocabulary or sentence, we can always use our
body language or even facial expressiongs to explain what we're trying to say.
In this case, Skype may not be sufficient.
I propose then you use the web camera on msn and Skype at the same time.
Therefore you can see the person face to face, and also talk to him/her. ^^
