I think you can converse with them in the way you chat with Taiwanes.
You can just say hi,or speak in Chinese...You must be feel strange
about speaking in Chinese, cause many foreigner sense the purpose
you want to contact with them is learning English, which make themself
nothing more than a tool. Besides, the tie between you and them can
be buit gradually^^...good luck!
