[Ask ] Could I improve my English by this way?

[dosenme (不是我)]

  To buy a English journal (NEWSWEEK) , and transcribe down every word.
As I finish the transcribing of every one paragraph, I will stop and write
down the unfamiliars, then transcribe the next paragraph.

  I have do this for about half years, one hour a day.But I have not to
memorize those unfaniliars hardly, because I think that amounts could forge
the memory.

  But I couldn't feel the progress on my English ability, especially the
English compsition.

  Is my way right or wrong? How could I refine it? I need help.

  I am new here, sincerely.
