Although I live in an english-speaking country, I spend most of my time with the Taiwanese community and for sure, mandarin is the language that we use most of the time. However, whenever there is a fight going on, or maybe something needs to be negotiated, everybody find that english comes a lot more handy at these extreme times! When using English, I don't need to think so hard in adjusting the phrases nor worrying about that the adjectives I use may cause serious misunderstanding. To make it short, I think chinese is better in delivering emotional thoughts while english is more useful in portraying exact facts...
