[Talk] About gamble

Chinese New Year is coming, and most Taiwanese like gamble,
HA!!! I prefer MJ
We always siad " If we gamble 10 times then we can only win once."
But I think it is not fluence in English,
so somebody can share me some phrase or proverb about gamble?
Or show me some website to refer.
