Today in the underpass in Gong Guan I ran into a foreigner, a tall but semi-bald handsome guy who has to duck his head to avoid being hit by billboards, confused about in which direction he should go to get Taipei Drink Water Museum. I saw him standing before the map, his Kappa-head shimmering in the neon light. "Hi, there! Do you need help?" asked an unlicked cub, an English beginner with a local accent. "I can show you the way. Come with me, and see where the stories takes us next." Of course the last sentence is totally fake. I am not the kind who dare talk nonsense before acquaintances, much less foreigners ten centimeters taller than I. My heart tender and my intent beneficent, but against the man's Mediterranean-bald my concentration could not prevail. Nonetheless, I escorted him all the way to the destination. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.228.40.154
