Long time ago, in a small village near the harbor lived a cute little boy and a cute little girl. Because they were of the same age, they often played together and thus became good friends, not able to live without each other. As time passed by, the boy grew up happy and blessed playing with the girl. Unfortunately, when he reached the age of 14, a war broke out, and the boy was drafted into military service. "Forget about me; perhaps I will never come back," the boy said, looking resolute and determined. "Nonsense, I will wait for you, till the end of the war," replied the girl. In the pasture on the mountainside, where they used to play and have fun, they kept sitting side by side, without a word uttered. Shortly after the boy went to the army, the girl fell ill, as serious as serious could be. Within just a few days, she passed away. A year later, the war came to an end; the boy rushed back home. Knowing that she was dead, he couldn't be more depressed. Then, after graduated from college, he became a salaryman, working his butt off day by day. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 58.114.78.205
