It was in the middle of November, the sun shining from the high sky, with scattered clouds sprinkling in the air. On her way home back from school, passing through a dimly, threadlike lane, weary yet relaxed, the girl was strolling alone. Her innocent face, faintly spotlit with the dusky twilight, let out her age--roughly ten, I guessed. From both sides of walls in the lane, the paint, as well as cement, almost came all off--which could come tumbling down right away, with merely a finger's touch. Beneath the walls were waste cartons piled up on top of each other. Among all the cartons right there, there was one laid wide open. Out of curiosity, the girl sneaked close, peeping into the carton; inside was a lovely cat, so lovely that no one could have seen it but took it home. The girl was no exception; captured by the round, watery, crystal-clear eyes of the cat, she drew near, slightly lifted it up, ,looked down, and then gently put it back. Away she walked, never turning back. The cat mewed weakly, left all high and dry. the cat: http://dsausage.web.fc2.com/Temp/longcat.htm -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 58.114.73.89
