I also introduce myself with English name to foreigners. Maybe it's like a
saying "When in Rome, do as the Romans." We gave chinese name to some foreigners,
didn't we? I got my English name "Dennis" since going to cram school when I was
10. It takes time to get used to my new name, it's just like another
identification. You have to response when people call "Dennis" even if you
hadn't realized you are indeed that person.
