I learned this from my major a long time ago, but I have an interesting
insight here. The vast majority act according to Maslow's hierarchy, yet
Human are UNPREDICTIBLE, according to each individual.
Their brains are different, consists of various diversity, and revolution
comes from the appreciation of this diversity.
During cultural revolution, a lot of Chinese lost their belief and morality.
They tried to betray each other, and trust was destroyed in the soecity.
When people are deprived of their lowest level of needs, they act like animals.
However, why, some individuals still insist their belief and moral standards
even they encounter a threat to their survival? Are they necessarily stupid?
For example, 文天祥, 泰瑞莎, 證嚴上人....too many..
Are these people stupid? I don't think so. I personally respect their choice
and admire their courage.
