Hi,
I just have a question about using English textbooks in college.
Do you think it would be better to study from Chinese textbooks? It seems like
it is very time consuming and difficult to study English textbooks. A lot of
time is spent translating the text instead of learning the material. So why
wouldn't it be better for the teachers to assign Chinese translations instead
of the English version?
Also, could anyone comment on the amount of time they spend translating and
what kinds of methods they use to study from English texts?
