SIX students will invite their mates over to watch the footie
tonight because Manchester United are playing in their ‘front
garden’.
The girls live so close to Exeter City’s St James Park ground
that when the FA Cup third-round replay against United is
broadcast live on BBC1 tonight, it will look as though the
action is taking place in the grounds of their house.
Holders United are expected to bring many of their star names
to the match after being held in a 0-0 home draw against the
Conference club 11 days ago.
And Helena Jenkinson, 20, who is on an education course, said:
“We can’t believe our luck. It will be unbelievable to see Wayne
Rooney and Ryan Giggs, basically playing in our front garden!”
