其實這在本賽季初（2009/8/4）社區盾開踢前就頒佈了，主要在講紅黃牌禁賽相關罰責。
其中有這麼一條，是最近大家都有疑問的。
Previously, players collecting five yellow cards prior to the final day in
February were subject to a one-match suspension. This will now only apply if
a player reaches five yellow cards before 31 December.
Sanctions for players accumulating 10 and 15 cautions remain in place as do
their respective amnesty periods.
Furthermore, if a player does accumulate the permitted number of cautions prior
to a cut-off date then the suspension will now be automatic as opposed to the
current seven day rule.
原本的舊規則是寫說在二月底前（在The FA管轄賽事內一線隊比賽中）累積五張黃牌在
比賽完後的七天內停賽一場。
本賽季起改成在該賽季的12/31前（在The FA管轄賽事內一線隊比賽中）累積五張黃牌，
立即自動停賽一場。（也就是不管有沒有超過七天，下一場就是當啦啦隊）
另外四月第二個星期天累積十張停賽兩場，賽季結束前十五張停三場的罰則依舊沒變。
