他自嘲著說:"我不像曼齊尼那麼有錢，可以買下報紙全頁廣告版面"
他的讀者投書除了感謝這些年來球迷的支持之外，並回憶起以前剛到這個球團的情形，
以及帶領天空之城從英冠到英超的酸甜苦辣，最後並要求球迷們支持球團的決定，並
支持下一位總教練。
