Bolton Wanderers最後一刻急踩煞車撤銷與Quick Quid的贊助合作，
改與FibrLec簽下兩年贊助合約的明智之舉讓Bolton球迷們相當振奮，
其中一位署名"M Burtonwood"的球迷上週六（6/8）在Bolton當地的報紙上
登了這麼一則感謝主席大人明智之舉的廣告：

我出生在六月，這個時節經常是球會的新球衣發表期間。
從1992-93賽季開始，我的姥姥一直都會買新發行的主場球衣送我，
在她前幾年過世之後我還是繼續保持這個慣例。
今年，跟其他球迷一樣，我原本決定不買今年的新球衣了。
這個決定會讓我和球會的關係開始疏遠，也中止了我的家庭慣例；
不過感謝主席和董事會肯傾聽球迷們的意見，並且很快地做對的事情。
現在我可以買我的新球衣了，我們可以繼續驕傲地支持我們的球會。

My birthday falls in June and often coincides with the new kit launch.
Since the 92/93 season my grandma would always buy me the home shirt.
When she passed away a few years ago I continued the tradition.
This year, like many other fans, I had made the decision
not to buy the shirt. That decision would have taken something
away from my relationship with the club and taken a tradition
away from my family. Thanks to the chairman and board
for listening to the fans and moving quickly to make things right.
Now I can buy my shirt and we can support our team with pride.
