Emily is working on implementing some of the suggestions to her recent
design. I think we've got near universal approval that this design is
better than what we've currently got so I plan to start the merge this
weekend.
I will first make sure that her work in Perforce is fully integrated
with any new changes that have happened in CVS such as new usergroups
added, etc. I will then tag the entire 'www' tree with a
'PRE_REDESIGN' tag so that we can later see the changes that are made
for the redesign. I may lock the tree for 30 minutes for this tag
operation. I will then proceed to merge all of the changes to the
English language site into CVS. When this is complete I will work on
the other translations and then send a mail here to announce when the
work is complete.
Thanks for all the input from everyone about the new design, and
especially thanks to Emily for incorporating/considering all the
suggestions.
Once the design is in CVS we can all continue to make the improvements
that have been discussed in this thread.
