The author is=C2=A0just trying to=C2=A0make his reads and w=
rites=C2=A0robust.
The=C2=A0functions he=C2=A0has written have no kno= wledge whether or
not signals have been
set to=C2=A0interrupt system = calls, so he makes sure they test for
EINTR in case they
have been.
