If it's a trap 12, try adding "option DISABLE_PSE" to your
config file.
The Tyan Tiger is a bit more sensitive to coherency problems
than most SMP motherboards. It's the VIA chipset, not the
motherboard itself, I think.

My solution is to trash the Tyan motherboard. We;ve had nothing but problems
with our Tyan motherboard and our SMP freebsd system. In addition, the ram
for our board is proprietary and costs a fortune to buy more IF we can even
find a supplier that has it, which is another problem. Tyan is complete junk
from my point of view. I would never use it again.
