Reyes hasn’t played since Wednesday after hurting his calf
at Los Angeles, an injury that kept him out of seven games
on a 10-game trip. He tested his legs before Monday night’s
series opener against Washington but didn’t run hard. Reyes
hopes to return when the leg feels about 80-85 percent. If he
isn’t ready by Friday, the Mets would put him on the DL and
backdate the move.
