LHP Scott Kazmir was placed on the disabled list, retroactive to March 31,
because of a strained right hamstring and will miss his first scheduled start
of the season. He earlier had been scratched from his scheduled start on
March 25 because of tightness and fatigue in his pitching shoulder.
