Anderson has a muscle strain near his left flexor
tendon, the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser reports.
Recommendation: The timetable probably remains four to six
weeks, since Anderson likely won't begin a throwing program
until mid May. He had the exact same diagnosis a few years
ago, so at least the recovery process will be familiar
to him.
